    1. Day 1 Hanoi – Mai Chau: 190km

      In the morning, our guide will come and pick you up at the hotel, take the bus to the suburban area to start the northern Vietnam motorbike tour. We will ride motorbike to Mai Chau valley afterward.

    3. Day 3 Tan Ky – Phong Nha: 280 Km

      “Vinh Moc is a tunnel complex located in Quang Tri, Vietnam. This one was in a strategic location, served as a bomb shelter for local people in Son Trung and Son Ha communes of Vinh Linh districts in the Vietnamese Demilitarized zone. The people were believed to support foods and other stuffs for North Vietnamese garrison on the Con Co Island.

      The American soldier wanted to suppress local people and forced them to leave but the residents had nowhere to go. They decided to move the village underground 10m but the American forces designed bombs that burrowed down 10m. Finally, villagers decided to dig more to the depth of 30m. This construction was started in 1966 and used until 1972. They lived here like normal, with the kitchens, rooms for living. Around 60 families lived in that tunnel with roughly 17 children were born here”

    6. Day 6 Hue – Hoi An. 160Km.

There are many Chinese, Japanese and western people coming to Vietnam and settle down at that time. Hoi An was also called Hai Pho in old time, which meant Seaside town. When the French came there, it is named as Faifo. In Hoi An, the most typical building which is the icon of that town is Chua Cau or pagoda bridge. This one was built on 17th century, which reflects the harmony combination of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese architecture, with the function of both bridge and pagoda.

      This town is called by French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch as Faifo. Many people have tried to explain that name. It is believed to be another version of Hai Pho. Others claim that it is the shortening of “Hoi An Pho”, to “Hoi Pho” and then Faifo.

      This town was recognized as World Heritage site by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) in 1999, as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to 19th centuries, whose buildings display a unique blend of local and foreign influences”.

      Besides the historical and cultural attractions in Hoi An, this town is also really well-known for its long and marvelous beaches. In the afternoon, we can ride motorbike to the Cua Dai beach or rent the bike to cycle along the windy paddy fields from Hoi An town to coastal area, just about 4km. At night, you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the bank of Thu Bon river, listen to the traditional music and explore the beauty of Hoi An by night with the colorful and shining lanterns.

    8. Day 8 Hoi An Motorbike Tour to Kon Tum (Central Highland): 290 Km

The distance is short, but it can take time to reach here because of the traffic jam in the suburban areas of Ho Chi Minh City. We will ride to train station and park the motorbike here.

    When Motorcycle we stay in friendly hotel, guesthouse or homestays. Some are more basic than others! Bear in mind that some of the places we overnight in are not on the standard tourist trail.In larger cities and towns, our hotels are generally more western style and are three or four hotels or resort. Please do not expect the same standard as you would your home.

    Our Homestays:

    Homestay in the villages is simple interm of bedding condition and ementies. We will sleep on beds or floor with mattress, clean sheet, pillow and mosquito nets. Toilet is usually western style.

    General rules for motorbike riding in Vietnam

    It is claimed that riding motorbike in Vietnam is not easy, especially for the inexperienced ones. However, it would be much easier for motorcyclists if they follow the rules and traffic laws of Vietnam rigidly. To ensure that you have a safe motorcycle trip and lifetime experience in Vietnam, there are some regulations that you need to bear in mind:

    • Helmet is a compulsory equipment for motorbike riding
    • You should use the high-quality helmet which was certified by traffic safety management bureaus or helmets following international standards. If you use the cheap helmet, it could be dangerous in case of injuries and accidents.
    • In Vietnam, we follow the right hand side rule of traffic
    • Be confident and decisive when riding. Don’t freak out or be nervous.
    • Ride carefully and control the speed in different circumstances.
    • In Vietnam, it is acceptable in using horn. Therefore, using it smartly because it could help you avoid undesirable cases. In some routes, there might be blind corners or crossroads, so it would be useful to utilize horn.
    • Give ways to bigger vehicles such as trucks, cars, buses or cart-transporting vehicles. It can ensure your safety and one thing for sure, they would take up for big parts of road surface.
    • Ride slowly when making a turn. It is important for you to push the light signals and sound so the left-behind vehicles are aware of your turn. However, you are advised to use your hand gesture and body language also because it would be more noticeable (waving hand when you want to turn left or right)
    • Show your respect and friendliness to people on the roads. Avoid conflicts with others because you don’t know who you are facing with.
    • Be friendly and chummy to other vehicle controllers when they greet you.
    • Be polite with the police. Don’t show out your abnormal or strange and suspicious behaviors on the road and the police will get no attention on you.
    • Drinking and riding should not be gone along.
