Ho Chi Minh Trails Motorcycle Tours
Ho Chi Minh Trail Motorbike Tours offer the complete Vietnam motorcycle experience of riding from North to South or vice versa. The Ho Chi Minh trail was a logistical system that ran from the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) to the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam) through the neighboring kingdoms of Laos and Cambodia.
The system provided support, in the form of manpower and material, to the National Front for the Liberation of South Vietnam. It was named by the Americans for North Vietnamese president Ho Chi Minh. Although the trail was mostly in Laos, the communists called it the Truong Son Strategic Supply Route, after the Vietnamese name for the Annamite Range mountains in central Vietnam.
According to the United States National Security Agency’s official history of the war, the Trail system was “one of the great achievements of military engineering of the 20th century. Northern Vietnam (Hanoi, Bac Ha, Cao Bang, Cat Ba, Cuc Phuong National Park, Dien Bien Phu, Dong Dang, Dong Hoi, Ha Long Bay, Haiphong, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Bac Giang) harbours some of the most magnificent views of Vietnam as well as the capital city and the chance to visit indigenous hill tribes.
Central Coast (Cham Islands, Da Nang, DMZ, Dong Ha, Hoi An, Lang Co, Hue, My Son, Na Meo, Nha Trang, Qui Nhon, Thanh Hoa, Vinh) with the ancient city of Hue to be the home of the still recent Vietnamese kings and Hoi An which features one of the nicest old seacoast towns in Vietnam. Central Highlands (Buon Ma Thuot, Dalat, Kontum, Ngoc Hoi, Pleiku) offer the lush forest-covered hills featuring indigenous tribes and the occasional elephant.
Southern Vietnam (Cat Tien National Park, Con Dao, Can Tho, Chau Doc , Cu Chi, Ho Chi Minh City, Long Xuyen, Mui Ne, My Tho, Phan Thiet, Phu Quoc, Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh) with the economic engine of Vietnam built around Ho Chi Minh City but also covering the lush and little-visited Mekong Delta, the rice basket of Vietnam.

Afternoon at the Cua Dai beach, about 6km from the old town.
      Cua Dia Beach
The former harbour town of the Champa people at the estuary of the Thu Bon river was an important Vietnamese trading centre in the 16th and 17th centuries, where Chinese from various provinces as well as Japanese, Dutch and Indians settled down. During this period of the China trade, the town was called Hai Pho (Seaside Town) in Vietnamese.
During the French colonial period (1883 – 1945), it was called Faifo. Originally Hai Pho was a divided town, because across the “Japanese Bridge”, it used to be the Japanese settlement (16th – 17th century). The bridge (Chua Cau) is a unique covered structure built by the Japanese, the only known covered bridge with a Buddhist pagoda attached to one side.
The town is known to the French and Spanish as Faifo, and by similar names in Portuguese and Dutch. A number of theories have been put forth as to the origin of this name. Some scholars have suggested that it comes from the word “Hai pho” meaning “sea town”, while others have said that it seems more likely to simply be a shortening of Hoi An pho, “the town of Hoi An”, to “Hoi pho” which became “Faifo”.
In 1999, the old town was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) as a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port of the 15th to 19th centuries, whose buildings display a unique blend of local and foreign influences.
Today, Hoi An is still a small city, but it attracts a fair number of tourists, also being a well established place on the backpacker trail. Many visit for the numerous art and craft shops and tailors, who produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of the western price. Today is relaxing Vietnam motorbike tours.

However, you are advised to use your hand gesture and body language also because it would be more noticeable (waving hand when you want to turn left or right)
    • Show your respect and friendliness to people on the roads. Avoid conflicts with others because you don’t know who you are facing with.
